Film Review: Breaking Dawn part.1

I am still m.i.a but I had to let you all know, I am fine, surviving, not drowning, swimming in the deep end, you know, the part of the pool your mum always say don't go there. YUP!
Law is hectic and demanding.. *then again I knew this before I picked the degree so I guess it is nothing new*

Any ways, Twilight was premiered a week ago in the UK, as a DIE HARD FAN! I had to go see it.
It was amazing. Bill Condon, is amazing, I love the way he directed this movie. Its so much like the book, I couldn't have imagined it any better.

If you are not a twilight fan, shoot yourself. Seriously. Okay... don't do it I was just joking. But what is wrong with you? how can you not love it. (hopefully I am not stepping on any toes here) lol

I am not going to even review it, because it is that amazing. And a true fan would have already read the book, thus knowing what would happened.
Regardless... go watch the film

By The Way... team fully pledge JACOB now.

Still love Edward, but I have finally taken my stand.

Film Review: What's Your Number

One Wednesday afternoon, a few weeks ago, myself and three of my girlies took advantage of the Orange Wednesday deal and went to watch, "What's your Number" starring Anna Faris, Chris Evans and Ari Graynor, now you all know how I feel about Romantic Comedies, they are predictable, ending is always one of the obvious cliches but I cannot help it because I totally LOVE them.

Alley, a woman in her late twenties, early thirties, (I am not sure) has gone through roller coasters with relationships. After getting fired from her job, she read a magazine article  which claim that if a woman who have had more than 20 lovers, has missed the one. In an attempt to not pass that mark, she vows on a drunken night not to sleep with any other man until she is sure is the one. This proved to be no luck, as she slept with a Guy the same night. Now she must track down all her exes with the help of her neighbour in order to keep her dignity and not go over the 20 mark.

Its fun, its twisted, and will keep you laughing through the entire film.
Definitely girlfriends movie night material.

Film Review: The Change Up

Romantic comedies, comedies, anything involving romance, or comedy, drama, musical and dance that's my thing.
On Wednesday, A friend and I went cinema without planning what to watch, when we got there me arriving an hour and half late (don't judge me) we live in the opposite sides of London and I didn't want to drive so public transport was my only option and that....is not reliable.
When the cashier mentioned the films showing within the hour, The Change Up was amongst them, I had seen the adverts but I didn't think it was out yet, but behold it was.
After lots of pouting and eyelash batting I got my way and we ended up watching this *spins around*

The plot goes a bit like this;
Mitch and Dave have been best friends since the third grade, however adulthood and the natural norm that people grow apart, drifted these friends from one another. Dave is a successful lawyer and a family man with three children, whiles Mitch is an undiscovered actor/ immature man with very little to no responsibilities. Intoxicated on one particular evening, they wish for each others lives, their wish was granted but they soon discovered the challenges the other face. Realising that the grass isn't as green as they thought it was on the other side, The change might just save Dave's marriage and re-candel the fading friendship.

I really enjoyed the film and so did J, it was super hilarious and I am so glad I got to watch it. Ryan Reynolds is such a hottie, is so weird how he can play such a bum as Mitch.
Hope you give it ago and let me know what you think.

Film Review: Friends With Benefit

I love romantic comedies, I can watch them all year round. I prefer a fairytale to real life, it give one an escape hole from reality, so on Wednesday, 14-09-11, I saw 'Friends with Benefits' with an old friend, that I had not seen in quite a while.

The plot follows Dylan (Justin Timberlake) and Jamie (Mila Kunis), Friends who decided to add the element of sex to their relationship despite what has been illustrated in the majority of Hollywood romantic comedies, they soon figured out that it is not as black and white to separate ones emotion from a sexual relationship.

I thoroughly, enjoyed the film it was so much fun, and the narrative was very interesting and educative. There was too much sexual content, and though I was extremely in alot trigued  by a semi naked Justin Timberlake, it was a bit uncomfortable because the friend I went with was a male...and you know (if you don't tweet me @MsNana_ i'll tell you)
I would recommend forcing the hubby out to go see it, or someone you like a lot !!! lol, it might you know initiate....herm..certain (we are all adults here - any under 18?) ..just kidding.
It was a good movie and I really like it.

What films would you recommend?

RIO - Mini Review

"I'm unwashable/Unrinseable/Like an abandoned school I have no principal."

I saw this Film on wednesday with my little brothers and it was hilarious. Quite sad too, its an eye opener, the story of love between two birdies. It is so cute, Love will over turn ones deepest fear, In this case, love allowed Blu to overcome his fear of flying. Definitely will recommend this for anybody with little siblings. Or if you are like me, you use them as an excuse to watch the film you want to watch.:
:D
Negative comment, the 3D is rubbish, not worth it, might as well watch it in 2D. Either than that,  a great film, good story line, some very funny moments, sweet and inspirational moment. Promotes love, friendship, and care.

Had to Give this review before I went MIA lol..

xx
